Accounts with AI access can request up to 20 page-analysis attempts per month. Recommendations include supporting quotes from the inspected text and suggested edits for your review. GhostAI does not publish changes, verify every factual claim, or guarantee ranking improvements.

Yes, on paid plans. Google rank is checked daily on every paid plan. AI engines are checked on a schedule that depends on your plan: Starter weekly, Growth twice a week, Pro twice a week, Agency twice a week. New keywords and manual runs are checked instantly, and checks run on our servers, so you can close the page. Failed checks are refunded. The Free Audit has no scheduled checks.

Is AI citation tracking included with every paid plan?

Every plan includes Google AI Overview presence and citation tracking. Are these the same answers people see in ChatGPT or Perplexity?

Not necessarily. RankGhost captures each engine’s API response with web search enabled. Consumer apps may use different models, settings, locations, or conversation context. Each saved run shows what that engine returned for that query at that time.

Which Google search location and language are used?

Accepted Answer

New projects default to United States results in English, and you can choose another supported market when you create the project. Projects created before markets were added use India. RankGhost looks for your root domain or a subdomain across the top 50 returned results. These results may differ from a personalized search or a search performed in another location.

What does Not found mean for a Google keyword?

Accepted Answer

It means your domain was not found in the results captured by that check, within the top-50 search depth. It does not mean your website is absent from Google's index. A failed provider request is a check error, not evidence that your site does not rank.

What is the difference between an AI mention and a citation?

Accepted Answer

A mention means the captured answer names your brand or domain (you can set the brand name per project). A citation means a returned source URL matches your domain or a subdomain. The citation rate counts each tracked prompt once when any engine cites it, divided by prompts with completed evidence. Paused, unrun, and failed-only prompts are excluded.

Can I track multiple websites and export reports?

Yes. Projects per plan: Rank Tracker 1, Starter 1, Growth 3, Pro 10, Agency unlimited. Your prompt or keyword allowance applies across all your projects. Open a project to review its saved results and export a report.

Will RankGhost improve my rankings or get my site cited?

Accepted Answer

RankGhost measures results and helps you find issues to investigate. GhostAI, the beta advisor, suggests next steps based on saved checks, but does not change your website or run checks automatically. Rankings and citations are not guaranteed.

Can I cancel a paid subscription?

Accepted Answer

You can cancel from Settings in your dashboard at any time, and your data is kept. Monthly plans are not refundable. You can cancel anytime and keep access until the end of the paid month. Annual plans are refundable within 7 days of purchase if you have used less than 10% of your included checks. Annual plans are charged for a full year; the monthly equivalent shown is for comparison.
